From bachelor pad to family retreat
This project transformed two apartments into a 140-square-meter duplex in the heart of Tel Aviv. The client wanted a stylish urban home that suited his busy social life, while also providing a comfortable hub for parents, siblings and extended family visiting regularly from London.
Almost every element of the apartment was custom designed and crafted by local artisans, from the lighting and carpentry to the furniture and architectural details. Inspired by the energy of Tel Aviv, the interiors combine contemporary city living with subtle Middle Eastern influences. Features such as a beer tap integrated into the kitchen island and a custom-designed Tel Aviv mural add personality and a strong sense of place.
Flexibility was central to the design. Spaces were planned to work equally well for entertaining, hosting family and adapting to future changes in lifestyle, while strong visual connections between the interior and outdoor areas enhance the sense of openness and flow throughout the home.
