A contemporary home designed around books, music and family life
Set amongst the green hills of Tivon, this home was designed for a close-knit family whose happiest moments are spent reading, playing music and gathering together.
While the architecture is distinctly contemporary, the brief was to move away from minimalism and create a home that felt warm, welcoming and personal. The challenge was to soften the strong architectural framework while preserving its clean lines and openness. A bespoke floor-to-ceiling library forms the heart of the main living space, while generous seating areas encourage conversation, creativity and music-making. Touches of earthy colors, natural materials, tactile fabrics, gentle curves and layered textures bring warmth and comfort. The result is a home that balances contemporary architecture with everyday family life—a space designed for connection, creativity and time spent together.
